Greg Mucci
Greg was born, raised, and has spent the majority of his life residing in Stratford, CT, where he graduated from Bunnell High School. Greg attended Western Connecticut State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. Greg then continued his studies at Sacred Heart University, where he received his Education Certification for teaching grades K-6th. It only took a couple of years for Greg to realize that his heart wasn’t into teaching and he began working for a landscaping and lawn care company. During the ten plus years he spent working at this company, Greg got licensed to apply pesticides, was quickly promoted to manage the lawn care and tick control division, and shortly thereafter received his Supervisory Pesticide Applicator Certificate in the Ornamental & Turf Category.
While working in the field and studying for the supervisory certificate, Greg learned just how bad the synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers he was applying were for him and the environment. With these new revelations, Greg contemplated a career change, but luckily he discovered the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) reviving his passion for the green industry. Through NOFA’s 30 hour accreditation course and his continued education in the years since, Greg has learned the importance of protecting and bolstering the soil life beneath the lawns he treats.

Annemarie Mucci
Annemarie is Greg’s wife and the “behind the scenes” partner of Family Organics, LLC. Annemarie graduated from Fairfield High School, received her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix and her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from The University of Kaplan.
Annemarie has a professional background in bookkkeeping, management, and business administration. For Family Organics, LLC she does everything from bookkeeping and office work to even helping out in the field when needed. As our business grows, the plan is for Annemarie to get the certifications and licenses needed to perform all services that Family Organics LLC offers.
